    The following conversation comes from an interview I did recently with Nadine Artemis. In this call we were talking about natural beauty tips for healthy hair. In preparation for our upcoming 30-Day Natural Beauty Makeover, we thought you might appreciate checking these out for yourself:

    “One great thing to do for the hair is an oil treatment.  And this you can leave on for the night if you’re able, or if you just put oil on before you shampoo, oil really helps to saponify, which means to lather the shampoo.  It does really create a beautiful thickening for the hair. It also helps the hair to be free of split ends.  So that’s a great thing to do.

    If you have a dry itchy scalp or any scalp conditions, essential oils added to the oil are really wonderful, because they’re antifungal and antibacterial.  Simple ones like tea tree, cedar, peppermint, and I also like sea buckthorn oil because it does really add shine to the hair.  You can add that in before you shampoo.
