Today’s vlog is a sneak-peek into the Body Enlightenment’s BE Healthy 30-Day Program. Watch and see how accessible and simple this lifestyle can be! As a Nia instructor I like to start out with Nia, but the Body Enlightenment system leaves lots of room for you to cultivate the fitness practice that suits you best. Also, in this video I keep the food very simple. There are literally hundreds of recipes for you to choose from at all different levels of “cleansing” and simplicity, so understand this is just one example, but the variations even within our 5-pillared approach to wellness are vast!

My Green Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup coconut water
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 bananas
  • 4 pineapple spears
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 2 Tbs chia seeds

My Chopped Salad Recipe:

Dressing Ingredients:

  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 tomato
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 green onion
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

Salad Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/2 tomato
  • 2 celery stalks
  • handful of cilantro, 2 cups shredded  spinach.

    Loved your video! I signed up for BE this past summer, and was amazed at the health benefits I experienced (age 67, 5’5″, 210lbs., MS, macular degeneration): felt much less achy, had more energy and mental clarity, more flexibility. After my first green smoothie, I wasn’t hungry for a day! I think I was finally giving my body what it had been craving for so long . . . Despite experiencing all those great benefits, I’ve had a hard time staying with the program of eating more veggies. Partly it’s because it’s so different than the way I’ve been eating, so seeing your very simple bag of veggies for lunch is a HUGE help! Plus I am realizing I need to deal with a big sugar addiction: dark chocolate and raisins have got to go!

    You’re darling. I like how down-to-earth you are. You don’t look like the movie stars but you radiate a clean strength that’s inspiring. I already eat like this and do hot yoga so I don’t need to sign up for your program but a sincere thank you for your love and support. We feel it baby!
