about the 21-Day Green Smoothie Detox:
"Do we eat ONLY green smoothies?"
No, but if you do, you'll feel like a chimp, uh... I mean a champ! We're not going to insist on all green smoothie meals, but we'll be including options so that you can certainly do it that way if you'd like. The important thing is to get as many greens as possible over the 21 days and reduce or eliminate fat for a few days, too. There will be loads of salads, smoothies, and even green juices included in the program materials, so you have many options to choose from.
We will start with a 7-day transition week and work on a gradient to increase the number of green smoothies in your diet. Once into the 21 days of detox, we'll try for at least 4-7 days of just green smoothies in the final week. If you're new to raw foods or green smoothies, there's no reason to feel intimidated by this process. We'll offer several cooked food recipes to help you transition to a more cleansing diet of raw foods during the 21-Day Green Smoothie Detox.
"Will I need fancy equipment, extra supplements, etc.?"
We are big fans of the Blendtec blender, but if you have any blender that will crush ice, you should be just fine to participate in our 21-Day Green Smoothie Detox! Try picking one up from a garage sale if it's the season!
"How do I access my program materials?"
All the materials and resources in our program are delivered online, so you can follow this program from anywhere in the world! As long as you have daily access to e-mail, you can follow along.

"I Kicked My Crappy Habits!"
I've been looking for something to help me kick the crappy habits I picked up in 2009, and this was it. I know I fell off the wagon on the message boards and journal front, and I put the mp3s on my blackberry for the gym because a lot of transitions came up in life during the detox, but that's what a detox is about right?
I will say, the prep week and the day one fast I think helped me the most, because by the end of day two of the 21-days, I realized I didn't need all the crap people kept telling me to eat all day, and I re-learned how to politely, but firmly, say no to people trying to convince me to eat things I don't want or who question my food decisions.

The first one was in our British winter when we don't always have easy access to a variety of food and veg - unless you are prepared to pay a lot and not worry about imported food miles. "At 63 I have energy I never thought possible!"
I am so indebted to your website and all in it, just about got through the detox but as i had a couple of chinese students for a month, they leave tomorrow, i did fall by the wayside a little bit. Honestly tho I was diagnosed with asthma and bronchitis a month or so ago and, somehow found the mental resources to follow the detox as best i could, have had green smoothies everyday, gave up all wheat and dairy, and do you know what, I feel lighter more balanced, my coughing has almost gone to what it was, I have mainly raw food and lovely salads, drink rice mild oat mild and hemp seed milk, and water, something i hardly ever thought to do, no more tea or coffee. I honestly didn't think at 63 I could hope to turn my health around but I really have exceeded my own expectations. Thank you all, can't stop now wouldn't want to.
